You Don’t Want to Miss These Fantastic Fall Festivals
Holden Beach, NC
October 29th & 30th
Bring the whole family out for this 2-day event, October 29th & 30th. The festival kicks off with a parade down the Holden Beach Causeway, and a once a year opportunity to walk across the Holden Beach Bridge! Arts and Crafts vendors are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday. You’ll want to plan to stick around the festival for a meal (or two), or enjoy one of the many varieties of snacks from the Festivals food vendors.
Southport’s Classic Cars and Rock & Roll

Join the crowd for a rockin’ good time at the Southport Classic Car and Rock & Roll 3rd Annual Car Show!! There is fun for the whole family, young and old. Dance contest, costume contest, and prizes!! Live music will be playing, and the people will be swaying. See if your favorite classic car will be the winner?!

Just a short drive from Ocean Isle Beach, you will find the beautiful La Belle Amie Vineyard’s. On October 29th, they are hosting a Halloween Bonfire & Cookout from 12p-6p. Relax as you listen to live music by The Don Colton Trio, and don’t miss the delicious food form Smokin’ Pitt BBQ from 12p-4p. You can purchase wine and other beverages under the pavilion as you enjoy a fabulous fall day. Admission is only $3, but if you bring two non-perishable food items for the food pantry, then you will receive $3 off the admission price!!
Pumpkin Painting and Trunk ‘o Treat

Head out to the Museum of Coastal Carolina for a Pumpkin Painting Workshop. Starting at 11am, children will have the opportunity to create their own pumpkin to take home. Everything needed will be provided, including the pumpkin! And don’t forget about “Trunk or Treat” from 10a-3p. Local Ocean Isle Beach business have sponsored trunks, filled with candy and other goodies, for your costumed kiddos. All you have to do is bring your own bag. Call for event pricing.
Fright Light at the Planetarium

Who doesn’t love awesome Halloween-themed music? But add that to a laser light show, and you will have something to talk about! Join in on the fun at the Planetarium for Fright Light, as colorful laser images are displayed on the Sky Theater’s domed ceiling. Songs such as Feed My Frankenstein (Alice Cooper), Devil Went Down to Georgie (Charlie Daniels Band), Iron Man (Black Sabbath, Men in Black (Will Smith), Godzilla (Purple Oyster Cult) Thriller (Michael Jackson), and much more!! This event starts at 6p…so don’t miss it!

The Grissettown Longwood Fire & Rescue has once again put together an award winning spooktacular adventure. If you are brave enough, you can traverse their one-of-a-king Haunter Trail. Admission is only $10, and proceeds go toward maintaining this local fire & rescue unit. The Haunted Trail opens nightly at 7p for a screaming good time!
