He will discuss different types of rods and reels to carry to the beach, what type of gear you need (sand spike, hooks, weights, and other tackle), and teach you how to rig your rod for surf fishing as well as selecting the proper bait.

Enjoy a friendly wing competition on Friday with free admission and wings for purchase. On Saturday, a $5 admission includes 3 tickets for BBQ tastings from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Vote for your favorite or watch the judges make their choice, enjoy a variety of vendors, fire safety demonstrations, and a fun atmosphere with great music. Full lunch meals of pulled pork, BBQ chicken and all the fixings will be available for sale.

The Waterfront Markets are so excited to announce our new Market in Ocean Isle Beach, NC coming this summer. It willbe held in town center (8 E 2nd Street) enclosed ina sunny and grassy field located where thebreezes from the ocean can be felt and the sound of the surf can be heard. The Market will be weekly on Monday beginning May 1,2017 through September 11, 2017 from 9 AM until 2 PM.
