OIB Market Series: Spring Market
Join us on a Saturday in April for the annual Spring Market, 10:00 am-3:00 pm. Location: 3 & 5 West Third Street
Bunny Hop
Hop on over for FREE family fun! OIB’s annual Bunny Hop typically occurs in April. This event is FREE to attend and features treats, photos with the Easter Bunny, games, prizes, and more. Location: Town Center Park

SUMMER FUN
OIB Market Series: Summer Markets
Join us on Tuesdays throughout the summer, May through August, for the Summer Market. Markets are from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Location: 3 & 5 West Third Street
Moonlight Movies in the Park
Come spread out a blanket or bring a comfy chair and enjoy an evening watching a family-friendly movie on the lawn of Town Center Park. Enjoy this free movie series all summer long, from late May through mid-August. Movies start after dusk and food vendors will be on site.
Peggy Hughes Summer Concert Series
Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to sway to the music! This FREE Summer Concert Series is held at the amphitheater in Town Center Park, starting in late May and continuing through late August. Most concerts are on Fridays, from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. Bring your lawn chair (can be set up after 4:00 pm) and be ready for fun!
Art in the Park
This fun activity encourages kids to explore their creative side! Join the craft-making fun on Tuesdays, 10:00 am-11:00 am, from late May through mid-August. Kids will love making a new craft each week. Location: Town Center Park
Scavenger Hunt
The Town of OIB’s Scavenger Hunt happens on Wednesdays, from early June through early August, 10:00 am- 12:00 pm. Registration is required is required and happens from 10:00 am-10:30 am.
Kids will receive a bag and clue sheet to search for prizes around the island.
Please note that children must be accompanied by responsible adult (18+) to participate.

Beach Bash
The Town of Ocean Isle Beach Recreation Department & the Museum of Coastal Carolina partner up to host a summer Beach Bash in July. They have fun activities, crafts,
music, photo ops, and so much more! Location: Town Center Park
4th of July Fireworks
The Town of Ocean Isle Beach presents their annual fireworks show from the OIB pier on July 4 at 9:15pm.

Pirate Week
Ahoy Mateys! Arrrr ye ready for some pirate-themed fun? Join the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Town of Ocean Isle Beach Recreation Department for a week of pirate-themed activities in July. Times & locations vary.

End of Summer Party
There’s no better way to end summer than with a party. Join the fun at Town Center Park in mid-August to say farewell to summer! This fun event features games, treats, crafts, and more. Don’t miss this end of summer fun.

September
Grandparents Day Celebration
This multi-generational event happens each September to celebrate grandparents. Enjoy crafts, face painting, an outdoor movie, and food vendors. Location: Town Center Park
Patriot’s Day Ceremony
This ceremony honors the bravery of 9/11. Location: Town Center Park
Food Truck Festival
Each September, the town of OIB hosts the annual Food Truck Festival. This weekend long event features favorite local food trucks and a live concert. Location: Town Center Park

Kid-Free Friday Night
In October, one Friday night is dedicated as a “Kid-Free Friday Night”. Adults can enjoy a movie, such as Dirty Dancing, and food trucks without children. This adults-only event is a fun way for grown-ups to enjoy an evening without the kids. Location: Town Center Park
NC Oyster Festival
The NC Oyster Festival comes to OIB each October for a weekend full of oyster shucking, delicious seafood, arts & crafts, live music, and more. Join the celebration of this beloved bi-valve. Location: Town Center Park
Trick-Or-Trunk
This family-friendly event is held each year in late October, often on Halloween, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Children and adults can wear their best costumes and trick-or-treat at vehicles in a safe and fun environment. Location: Town Center Park

Santa Paws
Take your pet for a fun outing and have pictures made with Santa. Santa Paws is an annual OIB event, which usually occurs in mid-November. Location: Town Center Park
Letters to Santa
Join the festive fun in late November for the annual tree lighting, letters to Santa, and other special holiday surprises. Location: Town Center Park
OIB Market Series: Black Friday Market
Join us on the day after Thanksgiving for our Black Friday Market, 10:00 am-3:00 pm. Location: 3 & 5 West Third Street
OIB Flotilla
This spectacular annual event takes place the each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Watch as lighted boats with brilliant displays take to the water in a nautical parade. The OIB Flotilla kicks off at dark and makes it way down the ICW from Shallotte Point to Ocean Isle Beach.

Noon Year’s Eve
What could be more fun than New Year’s Eve on Ocean Isle Beach? Join us for “Noon Year’s Eve”, an annual celebration on December 31. Bring in the new year with snacks, crafts, dancing, a countdown, and fun at mid-day! This is a fantastic kid-friendly happening. Location: Tower Center Park
