Dare Street - 001 - Sippy Time

We’ve rented beach houses every summer for 25+ years and this one is sooooo much nicer than your typical beach rental. I could live here year round. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is comfortable (especially the beds) and the kitchen is well stocked. We spent time on both decks, front and back, but the sunset views from the back became a nightly routine. We couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was to walk to the beach. Downtown is less than a mile away so walking to the downtown park and restaurants was also very doable. But, honestly, we were content to stay put and enjoy the pool, putting green and beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Our group of 7 had a wonderful time relaxing in this vacation home! The beach is a short walk away and you can grab coffee or food just down the road. A quiet, fun community and place to vacation. We’ve never been to this part of NC before but we’ll be back!

What a perfect family beach getaway! We wanted to take our children (3 & 1) to the beach & had high expectations given our 20+ years of experience as kids. We are so glad we stumbled upon Sippy, Sippy Time. This home is family-friendly, easily accessible to the beach/local attractions & included all of our must have amenities. Lots of space for sleeping (4 large bedrooms & 4.5 bath) & since our youngest is still in a pack-n-play (provided by host) we set her up in the spacious master bath freeing up downstairs bedrooms for grandparents/other family. The views from all 3 sides of the decks are spectacular - the sunsets we had were some of the best I\'ve ever seen & we appreciated the various sets of furniture enabling us to comfortably enjoy being out there. Our toddler loved racing around all sides which he was able to do safely since most of the deck has recently been refinished. Getting to the beach was incredibly easy with public access a 3 min walk (or 2 min toddler run) on sidewalks/ramps. There’s a pool in the backyard which we all used along with a private outdoor shower. We didn\'t use the outdoor kitchen/grilling but appreciated the other conveniences such as: several beach chairs, fast WiFi (perfect for remote work), washer/dryer (a MUST when travelling with kids), ample parking, fully stocked kitchen & separate thermostats for upstairs vs down. There are 2 docks for enjoying the canal since this home is nestled on a corner lot. The cherry on top is the short, walkable distance to the downtown area - 15 minutes to the new AMAZING city park, local putt putt & Coastal Carolina Musuem. You are also within steps of several restaurants, shops & specialty places like Drift Coffee, Ocean Isle Creamery, Sunset Slush & Coastal Wine and Tap. All other basic necessities are within a 5-10 minute drive just over the bridge and you are less than 20 minutes to the famous Calabash, NC for a perfect dinner. We can\'t WAIT to come back and make more memories with our family!

This beach rental exceeded my expectations.  The proximity to the beach was unbeatable, offering a beautiful view & serene atmosphere.  We enjoyed our walks along the water & to the variety of nearby restaurants.  The house itself was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.  Highly recommend for a rejuvenating beach getaway.

On a recent girl's trip to Ocean Isle, we had the good fortune to stay at the darling beach home "Sippy Sippy Time" @ 1 Dare Street. What a perfect beach retreat! It was well appointed with spacious rooms, fabulous decks with magnificent views, and all the amenities one could hope to find in a vacation home. It was fresh and clean with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen for the chef in your group. Watching the sunrise and set over the canals was so peaceful. Having a private pool on property for a dip after a day at the beach was a bonus. It's such a short, pleasant walk to the beach where the abundance of shells kept us hunting all day. There is ample parking for our crew and the location is ideal. We felt safe in this friendly community. We definitely plan to visit Sippy Sippy Time again!

We loved staying at this beach house!  Beautiful sunset and sunrise views!  We were able to walk to the beach in minutes every day and to local restaurants and to even play putt putt golf.  We are excited to rent this home again this summer with our extended family since it can sleep 8-10 comfortably.  We can't wait to use the pool and swim in the ocean!  Loved it and will be booking again very soon!
