For the most convenient option that’s likely going to be closest to your accommodation, look no further than River County! This course sits right across from the Ocean Isle Beach Pier and has been open for over 40 years, so they know a thing or two about offering a good time! It’s also a hard-to-miss spot, since when you pull up to this mini golf adventure, you’ll be greeted by the many safari animals that decorate the park.

Ocean Isle Mini Golf
Five minutes off the island and on the mainland is where you’ll find this comfortably shady course. Palms, live oaks, and Spanish moss cover much of the greens here, making this one of the coolest mini golfing experiences in the area. The beautifully decorated course also features many ponds and bridges. Smack a hole-in-one at the final hole of this course for the chance to win a prize from the Plinko game. After the holes, stick around for some delicious shaved ice, served right on-site. Each game is only $11, and for three more dollars, you can play all day for as much as you want.

Tropical Adventure Mini Golf
While this course is a bit further in Calabash, it’s well worth the trip if you decide to go! Adventure Mini Golf offers a fun island atmosphere on a golf course featuring themed decorations straight out of a storybook. While the course has existed in the area for over 50 years, they’ve recently undergone a massive renovation to mark the occasion, so come on down to try the new course! While you’re out in Calabash, make a day trip out of the visit and explore the area’s local dining and shopping while you’re there!
