Ocean Isle Beach Summer Concert Series
Each Friday starting May 25, 2018, you’ll find toe tapping, hip swaying tunes at the parking lot of the Museum of Coastal Carolina. The concert series lasts all summer long with the final performance taking place on September 7. This year’s featured bands include play everything from country to rock and beach to jazz music. All concerts are free to the public. The music kicks off each night at 6:30 pm and continues until 8:00 pm which makes it perfect for the kiddos. 2018 July Freedom Celebration & 4th of July Parade
If you have never experienced a 4th of July on Ocean Isle Beach,you’re in for a treat. This year we kick off the celebration with fireworks on July 3, at the Ocean Isle Beach Pier.* The next day the party continues as we celebrate the birth of a nation the only way we know how…with a parade! The parade starts at 10:00 am at the Museum of Coastal Carolina and continues down East 2nd Street to Lee Street. Kids will love the firetrucks, bikes, and floats. Everyone loves a parade!

Shallotte Farmers Market
Each summer beginning May 5 through July 28 the Shallotte Farmers Market comes to life in beautiful Mulberry Park in downtown Shallotte. The market takes place each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 pm It’s only a short drive from any of our Ocean Isle Beach vacation homes. The market has much more than just fresh produce. Local artisans, crafts, and pottery are also featured. The park has a wonderful amphitheater and each market features live local music.

Shallotte Summer Fest Concerts & Movies
Each Thursday evening from May 24 to August 8 you’ll find a wonderful family event at the Mulberry Park. The Shallotte summer concert and movie series combines two events. First, there is live music which kicks off at 7:00 pm Immediatelyafter the concert at dusk (around 7:30), there is a movie on the lawn. We can’t think of a better way to spend an evening. Ocean Isle Beach Summer Market
Delicious foodstuffs! All kinds of baked goods, fresh produce, and a broad range of quality handcrafted items. The Ocean Isle Beach Market will be at 11 E. Second Street. Hours of operation will be from 9:00 am- 2:00 pm each Tuesday starting May 29th and ending on September 11th. Check out this wonderful market for fun, food, and unique products.
Jolly Mon King Classic
The Jolly Mon King Classic brings fishermen and their families together for great food, fun, and fishing. The Jolly Mon recognizes the importance of the family and fishing and offers a
Jolly Mon Rock The Dock
This event is designed to give kids that might be too young to compete in the Jr. Jolly Mon or Jolly Mon tournaments an opportunity to be involved in all the fishing fun.
Registration will be from 7:30 am-8 am on Thursday, June 14th at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center. The fishing starts at 8 am
ENTRY FEE (includes rod/reel): $20 per entrant- payable in cash, check, or credit card at the time of entry (7:30 am-8 am on Thursday, June 14th at the OIFC)
OIB Scavenger Hunt
Bring out the kids for an OIB scavenger hunt adventure that they’ll be sure to love. Featuring all sorts of fun clues, and of course, free popsicles, snacks and prizes this is just the type of family-fun Ocean Isle Beach is famous for. For all the details Click here.

Monday Night Movies In Park
Grab a chair, throw some drinks and popcorn and head out to the Museum of Coastal Carolina each Monday night starting June 11. All movies are family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. Don’t forget to bring beach chairs as there is no designated seating. This is a free event. Don’t worry if you forget to bring drinks and popcorn as there are food vendors on site.
