The Perfect Easter Vacation Rental
63 Ocean Isle West Blvd. Unit 304This third floor, oceanfront condo, in the island’s only high-rise complex, features two bedrooms and two baths. There’s a queen bed in the master bedroom on the ocean side, and TV; the second bedroom has a queen and a single. There’s also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for your “drop by” company.Amenities include elevator, seasonal community pool, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, ceiling fans, and secured Wi-Fi. All Ocean Point condos have private balconies that face the ocean directly and offer an excellent view of the beach.
In 2018, all new appliances and a new TV were added.
This third row house features seven bedrooms and six and a half baths, on three levels. On the first floor, there are five bedrooms: Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed in each: two bedrooms have a double and a single bed in each; the fifth bedroom has two single beds. The second level has the living area, kitchen, dining room, and an additional den with a game table and TV.
Amenities include elevator to first and second floor, enclosed hot and cold water outside shower, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. The comfortable rockers on the covered sound side porch invite you to sit outside and enjoy the view of the passing boats on the waterway.
This oceanfront house features six bedrooms and four bathrooms on two levels. Upstairs, the oceanfront bedroom has a king bed!
Amenities include enclosed outside shower, central heat and air, washer and dryer, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. Catch some sun rays from the oceanfront deck, and enjoy the breathtaking views from the home and the partially covered deck. This house is walking distance to the pier, the arcade, the putt-putt mini-golf, the Museum of Coastal Carolina, Pelican Perch Restaurant, and best of all, the ice cream shop.
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter just isn’t complete without an old fashioned Easter egg hunt. Little ones will love searching for sweet treats in a beautiful spring setting. For the best Easter Egg hunt in the area, just head up the road in Shallotte, NC.
Bunny Dayz Easter Egg Hunt
Shallotte’s Mulberry Park hosts this wonderful event. Featuring ten acres of beautiful gardens, nature trails, and an amphitheater, this is the perfect venue for an Easter event. The park has plenty of free parking and is handicap accessible. The Egg hunt takes place on March 24, 2018, from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Don’t forget to watch for more events throughout the year at Mulberry Park.

Looking for a new way to decorate Easter eggs? Here’s a recipe for fun that’s hard to beat: With basic crafts supplies like crepe paper, pipe cleaners, felt, yarn, thread, and glue you to can transform plain white eggs into something fantastic.
The Marbleized eggs are sure to be a crowd pleaser. Once complete, nestle each of your marbleized eggs in its own bed of grass. Make little nests of dried grass inside each square. Now you have a beautiful collection of Marbleized Eggs.
If you wish to attend Easter Service, Ocean Isle Beach has several churches. The Ocean Isle Beach Chapel is a non-denominational church which features a guest minister each week. For Easter, they will be holding a service on the beach at 8:30 am. All are welcome, attire is casual, and did we mention it is on the beach! To find the service, head over to the fishing pier.
