Build The Ultimate First Aid Kit For Your Beach Vacation
No matter what time of year you choose to visit beautiful Ocean Isle Beach it never hurts to have a good first aid kit. A good first aid kit is perfect not only for the beach but for road trips, soccer games, kid's outing, and general use around the house. This week we give you all the things to need to make the perfect first aid kit for your family's beach vacation.
Pick The Right Container
The same two things that make the beach so great are the same two reasons you need to pick a good container to hold your first aid kit. Let's face it, sand and water are great between the toes but not so great in a first aid kit. One thing all good beach first aid kits should have is a waterproof container
Waterproof bags are great for the beach, on the boat fishing or out kayaking for the day. One advantage is they are flexible, easy to carry and store, and inexpensive. They come in all sorts of colors, sizes and styles. Waterproof bags are perfect for kayakers and stand up paddle boarders because they are easy to stow. Hard plastic cases are another great option especially when room isn't an issue. If you are a boater, having a hard case is perfect for you.
