1. A coastal tradition since 1979, the NC Festival by the Sea in Holden Beach offers free admission & free parking.

2. The only time of the year the Holden Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway is open to pedestrian traffic.

This two-day event kicks off with a parade over the Holden Beach Causeway. Since it’s the only time when the Holden Beach Bridge is open to pedestrians—why not? Come on over and see for yourself. It’s a picturesque view that’s definitely worth the trip.

3. There’s family fun for everyone with arts, crafts, live music, a parade, tournaments & contests,fishing, sand-sculpting, kids area, food & more!

Stroll the festival and get your steps in while you support the local businesses, artists, crafters, and vendors that are on-site for your shopping pleasure. Shop and buy local!
