Deer, turkeys, raccoons, owls and wild boar are just a few of the creatures that you could encounter as you zip through the trees. Adventure Park tickets are good for 2 hours worth of play, so be prepared to get your money’s worth of fun! And if you have a young adventurer in your group, no worries! There is a “Kiddie Park” made especially for you pint-size extremist.
Make the Most of a Walk on the Wild Side…with Wildlife
Take a walk on the wild side with a one-mile long Riverwalk Trail. This self-guided tour is just one way to add value to your paid adventure. And if you have opted out of an overhead adventure, then the trail is open for only a small admission fee that goes directly to the alligator relocation project. Explore the raised walkways, and take in the beauty of the untouched Carolina swamp land. You will experience the sights and sound of mother nature…in the raw. Be on the lookout for one of the many turtles, and feel free to bring them a turtle food snack.
When you are ready to get off the path, but don’t want to climb up…then take a frog-eyes view boat tour! Travel through the pristine Shallotte River Swamp with a knowledgeable guide, and get a first-hand nature encounter. But the 50-minute boat tours overs more than wildlife! You will also get a little bit of a history lesson, as you find a swampy landmark that was possibly used by George Washington himself!!
